FAQ

Adventure Racing is one of the few sports where just completing a race is often considered a victory. Adventure Racing emphasizes on teamwork between you and your partner(s) in the race, even with the teams that are competing with you, rather than for individual achievement.
Adventure Racing usually varies from 2 – 5 in a team. The race disciplines too varies from race to race, just to bring something fresh into the race scene, attract and build up the pool of adventure junkies out there. Races can include shredding through a tight single track on a mountain bike or orienteering and hiking through a dense forest. Adventure Races may find themselves ripping down rapids in a canoe, then abseiling off a 50m rock face etc … Races can usually last for a good 5 hours or even several days, covering 20-100 kilometers or more.
The adventure race scene is growing fast within Singapore. There is a burgeoning tide of extreme and adventure sports events on our shores. This year we saw several homegrown adventure races such as the Ace Adventure Challenge, Wilderness Adventure Race, and the return of Action Asia to Singapore earmarks us as a potential country for the growth of extreme and adventure sports in Asia.

H-TWO-O, The Ultimate Isotonic Thirst Quencher is another proud innovation of YEO’S.
Hydration is the replenishment of lost fluid, salt and minerals from the human body during sports. It is a continuous process, starting with having the appropriate beverage before engaging in the exercise, rehydrate during the sport, and not forgetting after the exercise. Proper hydration is a vital effort that should be made at all times during sports to ensure that sportsmen keep the optimum amount of fluid in their body to enable them to display their maximum performance. H-TWO-O is specially formulated to replenish the loss of fluid and electrolytes to rehydrate and refuel sportsmen when the body is losing fluid. It is high in energy, carbohydrate, and sodium essential to rejuvenate and maintain the body’s active requirements during sports.
Researches have shown the higher occurrence of children having
dehydration than adults as evidenced by these major facts:
- The temperature of children
accelerates much faster due to their natural inability in releasing heat
from their body as compared to adults.
- Children possess higher
metabolism rate as they are relatively more active which result in more
excessive loss of body fluid during activities.
- Perspiration is more than just
the loss of body fluid, but also electrolytes such as potassium and
sodium.
- The lack of education on when
and how to keep the body hydrated during active activities.
Not limiting to children, most sportsmen are unaware of the importance in being well-hydrated. For example, although water does in fact catalyses the lowering of body temperature but it does not contain the additional properties needed to recharge the minerals lost during active sports. It is also important to note that quenching mouth thirst may not equate to quenching the loss of body fluids. When athlete do not replace what they lose in sweat, it will affect performance and put themselves at risk in getting dehydration and in worst scenario, may even get heat stroke. Hence, timely replenishment of isotonic drink such as H-TWO-O, with fluids, vital electrolytes and carbohydrates will help to refuel the body for better performance.
H-TWO-O comes in a range of interesting flavours, designed for your varied taste preference. These include non-carbonated Original, Sparkling Original, Sparkling Apple and Sparkling Starfruit. Packaging volume includes Packet 250ml and Can 300/330ml, PET 500ml for on the go consumption, while PET 1.5L is suited for family or volume consumption during active sports.
To have a good game, have H-TWO-O prior, during and after activity to ensure the sufficiency of fluids and essentials in the human body at all times.
H-TWO-O, your Ultimate Thirst Quencher.
